| Description |
The Coast of Janda is located on the Atlantic coast of Andalusia, in the Southwest sector of the Cádiz county and just 37 km of the coast of Morocco, between the Bay of Cádiz and the Bay of Algeciras. Three municipalities integrate this geographical area: Conil de la Frontera, Barbate and Vejer de la Frontera. |

In the past the plain of Janda was a not very deep lake but in the 60s begun to dry out.
The climate in the Coast of Janda is Mediterranean, characterized by soft temperatures during the whole year and a deep contrast between winter and summer. The presence of the Atlantic ocean and the confluence of marine and continental masses of air, favour the increment in the annual volume of precipitations and the presence of frequent and intense winds. |
