Estero de Domingo Rubio

The shorebirds are the main character of the trail, species like the Common bittern, Little bittern and Squacco heron, which live at the shoreline of Estero. Great flocks of cattle egret or white storks also can be observed in their vicinity. Colourful birds, as the purple gallinule find food from the local vegetation. Lots of small birds, Melodious warbler, Savi´s warbler and multitudinous groups of White wagtail (Motacilla alba) will also be part of the rich birdlife of the area, which will be completed with the most common aquatic species: shorebirds and ducks.

It is located in the old road that connects Palos de la Frontera with Mazagon at 1.5 km away from Palos.

Road from Palos de la Frontera to Mazagón.
