On the road A-372, Benamahoma to Grazalema. At km 49 is the Port of Boyar. The trail starts from the viewpoint of this port

Elements of interest:
The ornithological richness of this route lies in the presence of numerous birds of prey and passerines associated with forests. Among the most representative species we can find griffon vultures, common Egyptian vultures, the golden eagles, bonelli´s eagles, Choughs, eagle owls, ,Rock Thrushes, Bullfinches (Pyrrhula pyrrhula), Ring Ouzels (Turdus torquatus) or Black-eared Wheatears (Oenanthe hispanica).

This area maintains its ornithological interest throughout the whole year, due to its birdlife richness and the abundance of sedentary species.

Elements of interest:
•  The route is linear and has a length of 7,200 meters.

• Puerto del Boyar viewpoint, from which it can be seen the Salto del Cabrero path.

• Along the path there are several gates that must to be let in the same state in which we found them (open or closed).

•  In the first section of the trail, the lane is flanked on the left for a few gorges which shelters the choughs and crag martins.

• In sections with more vegetation (portuguese oaks (Quercus faginea), hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna), gorse (Ulex parviflorus)) small birds can be seen .

• From the Salto del Cabrero you can observe the walls of the gorge, where many raptors nest, the Silla del Papa, the Picacho Peak and the Aljibe one, in the Natural Park of Los Alcornocales
